Partnership overview:
Initiated in 2018, this partnership aims to support the development of HOGIP’s activities and strengthen the skills of its staff. Initially focused on interventional cardiology, the cooperation has expanded to include biomedical maintenance, hospital digitization, and administrative and financial management. It seeks to support numerous medical and medico-technical specialties in achieving autonomy.

Achievements:
- Renewal of the framework cooperation agreement (2023–2026).
- Annual meetings between the management teams of both institutions at CHRU and HOGIP.
- Press conference with partners (RCVL, Centraider, Horizons Sahel).
- Annual peer-mentoring missions at HOGIP in interventional cardiology.
- Hosting of observational interns at CHRU de Tours:
- Multidisciplinary team: Immersion internships in services related to renal transplant activities (urology, nephrology, laboratories, etc.).
- Doctors/Pharmacists: Adult anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, sterilization, laboratory, occupational health services, etc.
- Paramedical staff: Nurses (neonatology and neonatal intensive care), psychologists (Women’s Center).
- Administrative and technical staff: Management controllers, IT specialists.
- Roundtable at the Santexpo 2026 trade show: “International Hospital Cooperation: Building Autonomy Rather Than Dependency.”

The partnership

The main focus of this cooperation involves peritoneal carcinomatosis surgery and colorectal surgery.

The partnership
A three-party cooperation involving the CHRU, the CHRU’s schools and HOGIP was signed in 2024. The goal is to promote the development of the nursing and midwifery students’ skills by implementing practical internships within HOGIP. The agreement includes complementary training actions within the CHRU’s schools for individuals working at HOGIP.
This partnership has the support of the DGOS

- A 10-week internship at HOGIP for 4 nursing students of Tours’ IFSI
